We have three new bloggers this semester, and for the next three days we will be posting their “about me” pieces. Welcome our first new member, Raina!

Hi everyone! My name is Raina Harris, and I am a senior fashion merchandising major here at Kent State University, but graduating in 2013. I am excited to be a blogger for Fashion Blitz! I hope to share something’s about myself along the way, and to hear from you as well!

Since I believe that we are always learning and changing in some way, shape or form, it is difficult for me to limit my personal style to just one word. Many things influence my style, so it can be contrasting at times. However, at all times I like for anything I wear to be functional, comfortable, worn in and something I think I would wear in the future. My favorite things to wear are jeans, sweaters, cardigans, jackets and handbags. I also love a good mix of my favorite fabrics: leather, suede, velvet and tweed.

Some random things that make me happy: other peoples personal style, handbags, music, coffee/tea/smoothies, spring, animals (especially my cat…and killer whales), Blythe dolls, anything miniature, other countries, certain blogs, DIYs, stop motion and CGI films, Youtube, etc.  More information about myself you will find out along the way.
