Notable Nails
In reference to the most recent “vision board-styled social photo sharing website” also known as Pinterest, many users have taken nail art to the next level. This season, why go without glitter polish or new color crackle?
I’ve browsed every photo from tribal print, to newspaper nails, glitter galore, animal print and color blocking. So, in reality, any color combination may be suitable for your wardrobe.
For the new year, nail are is all about making a statement. Take Zooey Deschanel, for example. While wearing a dark green silk dress with an open back, custom made by Prada, she also sported tuxedo nails to expose her quirky side. How creative! As a huge fan of Zooey, I would expect nothing less.
What new nail trends have you tried, readers? I’d love to hear of any simple, snazzy ways you have learned to dress up your nails. In the meantime, I look forward to “pinning” images of nail art to my inspirational boards and wishing I was as talented as the women in my salon.
My newest risk to take would be to try shellac nails, as well! I know this technique gives your nails an impeccable shine unlike any other, and keeps your color stronger than ever before. My best friend had a red shellac done to her nails and it lasted nearly three weeks! I would love to try a solid color shellac to keep my nails strong and beautiful.
