Makeup for daytime
Fall is finally here, which means it is time to break out your smokey brown eyeshadows and get creative. I love Urban Decay’s Naked and Naked2 palettes. You cannot go wrong with either one because there are so many fun colors that can be transformed from day to night.
To create a look to wear during the day, use lighter bronzed colors with the Naked2 palette. First start by applying pale pink hues all over the lid, and then blend a warmer brown into the creases of the lid. This gives a nice contoured effect that really opens up the eyes.
Finish the look with some mascara, neutral lip gloss and a dab of highlighter on the nose and cheek bones. My favorite product of all time is Benefit’s Watt’s Up highlighting creme. It’s perfect to bring an extra glow to the face.

Nighttime look
Transform your daytime makeup look to night in just a couple steps for a perfect fall runway inspired look.
Start out by darkening the smoky eye you have already created by adding a darker hue to your crease to give your eyes more depth. Sweep the same color under your eye, close to your lash line to keep your lids from looking too top
heavy. A shimmer eyeshadow on your brow bone and inner corner of your eye will make your eyes appear larger.
The main focus of this night look is the vampy lips – spotted on the runways of Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Givenchy. Instead of using a wine-colored lipstick, here we layered brown and plum eyeshadow over a red lipstick to create the perfect shade.
Finally, finish off the lip with a dab of gold eyeshadow to give the illusion of
afuller pout. Dramatic and intense, this look is sure to make a statement in the chilly months to come.

Nail trends
Over the past year, we’ve adorned our nails in everything from nude to neon [in a matte finish, of course.] This fall, drop all your nail polish inhibitions and get ready for beautifully bold metallics. Fall 2012 is all about jewel-toned lacquer with underlying hints of gold and silver, seen on the runways of designers including Tracy Reese, Alice + Olivia and John Paul Gaultier.
Swap out old shades for shiny new hues. To make a statement, choose a polish from Essie’s latest collection, Mirror Metallics. The colors include eye-catching tints of gold, silver, copper, blue, and purple, all in lighter vivid shades. For darker lustrous metallic’s try a polish from OPI’s late Germany collection. If you feel like these shades are a bit too bold for daytime, pick up your go-to polish color in a metallic finish.
Whether you favor dark lustrous shades or gleaming golds, be sure to add a few metallic lacquers to your nail polish wardrobe this season!

The naked palette looks nice and the shimmering effect makes the eye look bolder. I'll try those makeup suggestions for my wedding makeup in Perth. But can you suggest a lighter shade in case I decide a morning wedding?
