Kiss, kiss
The beginning of my freshman year my name was reaffirmed to all the new people I was meeting by, “Oh yeah, that girl with the lipstick.”
I was taught from a young age that I should never leave the house without a swipe of mascara and some color on my lips. From gloss to a stain, I never go without.
Lipstick is one of the simplest (and cheapest) ways to mix up your look. One dab of a great color can instantly change your entire ensemble.
This fall is calling for red lips galore. From cherry to scarlet, this trend is an absolute must. No need to go buy every shade (unless you’re as obsessed as I am), I’ve done the research for you.
Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Balm in Chunky Cherry
Let’s face it – red lipstick can be a little scary. This balm was my go-to color all summer long. It provides a great sheer red color that anyone can pull off. The Chubby Stick is a little pricey in terms of lip balm, but 100% worth it.
Tarte Glamazon Pure Performance 12-Hour Lipstick in Wild
This is the perfect lipstick to use while your summer tan is still holding on. Its velvety formula is unlike the cake-y ones of other long lasting lipsticks, and it definitely holds up to its 12-hour title.
Buxom Full-Bodied Lip Gloss in Hot Mama
For lipstick color in a gloss, this is your go-to. Long lasting with great color, this gloss goes on smooth, not sticky. Perfect our wind-tunnel campus.
Expect to see many rouge pouts on the Esplanade in the coming weeks, this is a trend you won’t want to miss.
