The Primetime Emmy Awards
On Sunday, September 23, celebrities gathered on the red carpet for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards. Shows such as Homeland, Modern Family and Game Change won multiple awards. From rich to pastel colored gowns, celebs showed off their different styles. Make-up trends varied from glamorous to natural terracotta colors.
Starlets dazzled in beautiful gowns. Leslie Mann(top left) looked adorable in her dress. The bodice was elegantly covered in pearls that topped off a yellow skirt that provided just enough volume. She sported big blue pearl earrings that added a touch of color. Tina Fey’s dress (top middle) was designed by Vivienne Westwood. The curve hugging gown looked great on her! The plum color complimented her skin tone perfectly. Julianne Hough’s look (top right) gave off a Cinderella vibe. Her blue eyes sparkled just as much as her beaded blue dress, made by George Hobieka. Her blonde up-do completed her fairy tale look. My favorite dress from the night was Heidi Klum’s seafoam gown by Alexandre Vauthier. Heidi (right) looked fabulous, as usual, with a plunging neckline and two deep slits that allowed her to show off her long legs. She wore matching dangling earrings as well as strappy heels.
As for hair and make-up, glam hair-styles and and neutral eye-shadows stole the show. Bombshell waves, fringy bangs and high quiff buns were popular amongst the stars. Make-up trends such as full brows, extended cat-eye, as well as winged eyeliner were prevalent. Neutral lips completed many celebrities’ looks.
