From Irish Kelt inspired skirts to throwback jerseys to gold linked risque cut out warm ups to body suits, Jeremy Scott’s spring/ summer 2013 collection had a jam packed compilation of numerous creative aspects. In this collection I saw a heavy use of primary and complementary colors. The vintage style video look book truly made these colors pop and the exotic models really set the tone for the overall eclectic inspiration. Check it out!

Words can only describe a look to such an extent. After all, it is called ‘a look’ for the purpose of seeing it. Instagram is a great tool for staying up to date on the latest trends and fashion news, all by simply scrolling through pictures. Here are some of my favorite accounts you need to start following:

@oscarprgirl

If you follow Erika Bearman, senior vice president of global communications at Oscar de la Renta, on Twitter already, you know this PR iconic is living every fashion major’s dream. Her photos give insight to her glamorous job and dream closet, and it’s always a treat when Mr. de la Renta himself pops into the photos.

@birchbox

Besides the awesome makeup tips and must-have products, the best part of Birchbox’s account is the fun pictures of its staff!

@mrjoezee

As the creative director for “Elle,” Joe Zee seems to take the “creative” part of his title seriously in his photographs. Always traveling, his pictures are a sneak peak to the behind the scenes world at “Elle” and beyond.

@rachelzoe

As much as I love stylist Rachel Zoe, the adorable pictures of her son Skyler almost tops the looks of her latest collection.

@katespadeny

The bright pops of color instantly draw attention to these pictures, but the great scenes of NYC are the perfect escape from Kent on a dreary day.

Have something you think deserves a shout out on Editor’s Pick? Leave it in the comments section, then check back next week to see if it made the cut!

One trend that will definitely be popular this spring/summer is raffia accessories.

Haven’t heard of raffia before? It’s a type of palm tree, native to Africa and Madagascar, whose leaves’ fibers are used to make all kinds of jewelry — from bracelets to shoes to handbags.

I found some great raffia accessories under $50. First up is a pair of strappy wedge heels from Charlotte Russe. I’m a huge shoe person, so these are right up my alley. I’ve especially gotten into wedges lately because, at least for me, they’re easier to walk in and a bit more casual than a pump.

These wedges sport a pretty cross-stitch, so it’s not just one monotone color. They’d be perfect for flowy spring dresses, and I’d wear them with rolled up pants if the weather was still chilly.

My second pick is this cream raffia bowler bag from Dorothy Perkins. Since it’s a bowler bag, it’s large enough to carry all my stuff in without being overwhelming. I love its contrasting navy trim and the fact that it’s only $39!

If that’s too big, I also found this adorable raffia wristlet from the same designer. It’s only $21, and the feminine pink ribbon bow and trim add just enough to the wristlet to keep it from being too beige and boring. I’m not a huge fan of pink, but I’d love this for a day when my outfit isn’t feeling girly enough.

My final raffia pick is also my favorite. This brown studded weave headband from Miss Selfridge is incredibly affordable at $13, and I can think of a million outfits I’d love to wear it with. Since it has elastic, I imagine it’s pretty comfortable, which is key for me when it comes to wearing headbands.

What’s your favorite raffia accessory?
