Megan’s pick

With so many unique, beautiful pieces at every turn, pulling from the Fashion School Store wasn’t easy. But when I spotted a pair of charcoal wide-leg pants, I instantly knew I wanted to use them for my pick this week.
Let the pants do the talking by pairing them with a simple dolman tee. For texture and interest, throw on a chunky knit like this beautiful sweater with green flower detailing by Eileen Smith. Add a printed silk scarf of a coordinating color combination to pull the look together. Tucking a necklace underneath the scarf enhances the elegance of the look and adds a playful luster. Finish the look off with a pair of low-key pumps to emphasize the incredible silhouette of the pants and you’re ready to go.

Shibori printed scarf (Carl Belfiore), $60.00

Pair a drawstring skirt with a comfy sweater for a quirky and playful look perfect for transitioning to fall. The skirt is adjustable in length using the drawstrings on either side, and the sweater is long enough to wear by itself over a pair of tights.

  Megan’s Pick:

Spice up a black and white polka-dot dress by layering it with a sheer, cobalt blue blouse to add a pop of color. Emphasize the loose-fitting silhouette by leaving the bottom two buttons of the blouse unfastened. Throwing a neutral sweater over the combination really pulls the look together and makes it appropriate for fall. Accent the look with a statement necklace that hugs the neck and sits perfectly with the collar of the blouse.
