Editor’s pick — A good blazer
Have something you think deserves a shout out on Editor’s Pick? Leave it in the comments section, then check back next week to see if it made the cut!
I have to admit — I just bought my first blazer a few months ago. I always thought they were too stuffy for a 21-year-old college student to wear, but I’ve changed my tune.
My new favorite thing about blazers is how they can class up a casual outfit. If I wear jeans and a T-shirt, but add a blazer, I automatically feel more put together. I also wear a ton of cardigans, which I will always love, but to me, blazers take it over the top.
I also like blazers for a good night out. This funky green blazer from Forever 21 is only $30 and adds a unique spin on the classic black or gray blazer. It could be fun paired with dark skinny jeans, a bold statement necklace and layered bracelets.
Want to stand out even more? Try this sequined blazer from Urban Outfitters. At $50, it’s affordable and easy to wear. You can pair it with almost anything of a contrasting color and you won’t have to worry about adding extra jewelry since it’s so bold!
If the classic black blazer is best for you, this $50 blazer from H&M would be perfect. It’s the most versatile of the three, so you’ll get your money’s worth. Spice it up a little with a funky shirt or skirt.
So next time you grab that slouchy sweater of yours, think about trying a blazer instead!
